Frequently Asked Questions.

Everything you need to know about Aurex Funded — programs, risk rules, payouts, and platform.

General — What is Aurex Funded?

What is Aurex Funded?

Aurex Funded is a Trading Evaluation Program that assesses traders through simulated challenges. Traders who demonstrate consistent risk management and profitability earn Reward Certificates — performance-based payments. We are not a broker, investment firm, or financial institution. Our platform is a performance evaluation service.

Is Aurex Funded a broker? Am I depositing money into a trading account?

No — and this is critical to understand. Aurex Funded is NOT a broker. When you purchase an Evaluation Challenge, you are paying a service fee for access to our evaluation software and simulated trading environment. Your money does NOT go into any brokerage account, is NOT used to trade in live markets, and is NOT at risk in financial markets. All trading uses virtual, fictitious capital with no real monetary value.

Is Aurex Funded regulated?

Aurex Funded is a trading evaluation and performance assessment service, not a regulated financial institution. We do not require financial regulation to operate our simulated evaluation program, as no real client money is handled for investment purposes. We are fully committed to operating transparently and ethically within applicable laws.

Who is Aurex Funded for?

Aurex Funded is designed for experienced traders who have a proven trading strategy and want access to simulated capital to demonstrate their skill. Our three programs — PRO, FLEX, and RAPID — are designed for different trading styles: methodical/patient, active day trading, and fast/confident execution.

What markets can I trade?

The Aurex Funded platform supports forex (currency pairs) and may include indices, commodities, and other CFD instruments depending on what is available through TradeLocker, our current platform partner. The full list of tradable instruments is available on the platform once your account is activated.

The Programs — PRO, FLEX & RAPID

What are the three Aurex Funded programs?

PRO — A 2-phase classical evaluation with static drawdown. No time limit. No consistency rule in funded stage. Profit targets: 9% (Phase 1) + 4% (Phase 2). Daily loss limit: 4%. Total drawdown: 9% static. Minimum 5 trading days per phase. FLEX — A 1-phase evaluation with EOD trailing drawdown. No time limit. Overnight positions allowed. Profit target: 6%. Daily loss limit: 2%. Total drawdown: 4% EOD trailing. Consistency rule: 60% max per day. Minimum 7 trading days. RAPID — A 1-phase speed challenge. Maximum 5 trading days. Profit target: 5%. Daily loss limit: 2%. Total drawdown: 3% EOD trailing. Consistency rule: 60% max per day. 1 reset allowed.

Which program should I choose?

Choose PRO if you trade patiently, prefer more drawdown room, and don't want to rush. Choose FLEX if you day trade actively with tight risk management and want overnight flexibility. Choose RAPID if you're confident you can hit targets in 5 trading days or fewer.

What account sizes are available?

All three programs are available in four account sizes: $10,000 — $25,000 — $50,000 — $100,000. Challenge fees vary by program and size. See the pricing section for current fees.

Is there a time limit on PRO and FLEX?

No. PRO and FLEX challenges have no maximum time limit. You can take as long as you need, provided you remain active (at least one trade every 30 days) and do not violate any risk rules. RAPID is the only program with a time limit: 5 trading days maximum.

What is a 'trading day' for minimum day requirements?

A trading day is any calendar day on which you open and close at least one trade on your Simulated Account. The minimum trading days requirement (5 days for PRO, 7 days for FLEX) must be met before a phase can be evaluated as complete — even if you've already hit the profit target.

Can I hold trades overnight?

It depends on your program. FLEX is the only program that allows overnight positions (in both evaluation and funded stages). PRO and RAPID require all positions to be closed before the applicable daily market close. No program allows holding positions over weekends.

Risk Rules — Drawdown, Daily Loss & Consistency

What is the difference between static drawdown and EOD trailing drawdown?

Static drawdown (PRO program): Your loss limit is calculated from your original starting balance and never changes — no matter how much profit you accumulate. If you start with $100,000 and the drawdown is 9%, your account floor is always $91,000 — even if you grow to $120,000. EOD Trailing drawdown (FLEX and RAPID): The floor moves upward at the close of each profitable trading day. If you end a day at $103,000 on a $100,000 account with 4% EOD trailing, your new floor becomes $98,880 — locking in your gains. Intraday unrealized profits do NOT move the floor — only confirmed end-of-day equity does.

How is the Maximum Daily Loss calculated?

The Maximum Daily Loss (MDL) is calculated from your account equity at the start of each trading day. Both realized losses AND unrealized (floating) losses on open positions count toward the MDL. Example — FLEX account, $50,000 balance, 2% MDL = $1,000 max loss. If your open positions show a floating loss of $1,000 at any point during the day, the MDL is breached — even if you haven't closed any trades yet.

What is the Consistency Rule and which programs have it?

The Consistency Rule applies to FLEX and RAPID programs (both evaluation and funded stages). It states that no single trading day may generate more than 60% of your total net profit in any given payout cycle. Example: If your total profit for the cycle is $2,000, no single day can account for more than $1,200. A day generating $1,500 out of $2,000 total (75%) would violate the rule and disqualify that Reward Certificate request. PRO funded accounts are exempt from the Consistency Rule.

What happens if I breach a risk rule?

If you breach any risk rule — including the Maximum Daily Loss, Maximum Total Drawdown, or any prohibited trading practice — your account is immediately terminated with no grace period, no warning, and no refund of the challenge fee. You will need to purchase a new challenge to start again.

Rules — What's Allowed & What's Not

Are Expert Advisors (EAs) or trading bots allowed?

No. The use of Expert Advisors (EAs), automated trading bots, algorithmic systems, or any software that executes trades without direct real-time human input is strictly prohibited on all Aurex Funded programs. All trading must be performed manually by the registered Participant. This applies to both evaluation and funded stages.

Is news trading allowed?

No. Trading within 2 minutes before or after a designated high-impact economic event (such as NFP, CPI, FOMC decisions, or central bank rate decisions) is prohibited. You may close existing positions during this window, but you may not open new ones. The economic calendar is available in your dashboard — it is your responsibility to monitor it.

Can I use copy trading or signal services?

No. Using any copy trading platform, signal service, mirror trading system, or any technology that replicates trades from another account into your Aurex Funded account is strictly prohibited. All trading decisions must be your own.

Can I hedge between multiple accounts?

No. Cross-account hedging — placing opposing positions on the same or correlated instruments across two or more Aurex Funded accounts or between an Aurex Funded account and any external brokerage — is strictly prohibited. This constitutes arbitrage fraud and results in immediate disqualification of all involved accounts.

What is 'gambling behavior' and why is it prohibited?

Gambling behavior refers to trading that does not reflect genuine, repeatable risk management skill — such as passing a challenge with a single oversized trade, using disproportionate lot sizes, or employing all-or-nothing strategies designed to exploit the simulation rather than demonstrate real trading ability. Even on PRO (which has no formal consistency rule), passing through gambling-style trading is prohibited.

Is Martingale or grid trading allowed?

No. Martingale strategies (systematically doubling position size after losses) and grid trading (placing buy/sell orders at fixed intervals above and below a reference price) are both strictly prohibited on all Aurex Funded programs.

Reward Certificates & Payouts

What is a Reward Certificate?

A Reward Certificate is Aurex Funded's proprietary performance recognition document issued to Participants who have successfully completed all evaluation phases and meet all funded account payout requirements. It represents our contractual commitment to issue a performance-based payment. Reward Certificates are NOT financial instruments, securities, or investment products. They cannot be transferred, sold, or pledged as collateral.

What is the minimum profit required to request a payout?

The minimum profit required to submit a Reward Certificate request is 1% of your funded account balance in the current payout cycle. This applies to all three programs: PRO, FLEX, and RAPID. Example: On a $50,000 funded account, you need at least $500 in net profit before you can submit a request.

What is the profit split?

PRO: 70% on your first Reward Certificate, 80% on all subsequent ones. FLEX: 80% on all Reward Certificates. RAPID: 80% on all Reward Certificates.

How often can I request a payout?

PRO and FLEX: Every 14 calendar days. RAPID: Every 7 calendar days — the fastest payout cycle available. Reward Certificate requests must be submitted through your Aurex Funded dashboard. Processing takes 24–48 business hours after verification.

Is the challenge fee refunded?

Yes — upon receiving your first Reward Certificate for a given funded account, the original Evaluation Challenge fee for that account is refunded to you. The refund is processed alongside your first performance payment. Challenge fees are NOT refunded prior to first Reward Certificate issuance.

Is there a limit on how many payouts I can receive?

Yes, per funded account: PRO Funded: maximum of 10 Reward Certificate withdrawals. FLEX Funded: maximum of 5 withdrawals. RAPID Funded: maximum of 5 withdrawals. Once the maximum is reached, the funded account is retired. You may start a new challenge to earn a new funded account.

How is the Reward Certificate payment calculated?

Your performance payment = net profit for the payout cycle × your profit split percentage. Example: FLEX funded account, $50,000 balance. You generate $2,000 net profit in a 14-day cycle. No single day exceeds 60% of total profit. Reward Certificate payment = $2,000 × 80% = $1,600.

What payment methods are available?

Performance payments may be issued via bank wire transfer, cryptocurrency, or other payment methods available at the time of processing. Available methods are listed in your dashboard when submitting a Reward Certificate request. You are responsible for any transaction fees or currency conversion costs on your end.

Accounts & Capital Limits

How many challenges can I purchase?

There is no limit on how many Evaluation Challenges you can purchase or hold simultaneously. You can run PRO, FLEX, and RAPID challenges concurrently in any combination and at any account size. The limit only applies to funded (passed) accounts.

How much funded capital can I hold at one time?

The maximum total funded (passed) capital you can hold simultaneously is $150,000 USD. This is structured as: a maximum of one (1) $100,000 funded account AND one (1) $50,000 funded account (or an equivalent combination not exceeding $150,000 total). You must close or retire an existing funded account before activating a new one that would exceed this cap.

Can I scale my funded account?

Yes. Aurex Funded offers a Scaling Program for top-performing funded traders. Qualifying traders can scale their virtual account balance up to $500,000 within a single funded account by hitting performance milestones. Note: The $500,000 is the scaling ceiling within one account — the $150,000 simultaneous funded cap across all accounts still applies.

What happens if my funded account goes inactive?

Funded accounts must have at least one trade within the applicable inactivity window: PRO and FLEX: 30 consecutive calendar days maximum. RAPID: 20 consecutive calendar days maximum. Accounts inactive beyond this threshold may be closed without notice. If you anticipate a period of inactivity, contact support@aurexfunded.com in advance.

Platform & Technology

What trading platform does Aurex Funded use?

Aurex Funded currently operates exclusively on TradeLocker — a professional trading platform supporting forex and CFD instruments. TradeLocker is available on web, desktop, and mobile, making it accessible across devices.

Is MetaTrader (MT4/MT5) available?

Not at this time. MT4 and MT5 are not currently supported on the Aurex Funded platform. We are exploring platform expansions and MetaTrader support may be introduced in the future. Existing challenges will not be affected by future platform additions unless you opt in.

Can I trade from my phone or tablet?

Yes. TradeLocker is available on iOS and Android mobile devices, as well as web browser and desktop application. You can monitor and trade your Aurex Funded account from any device with internet access.

What happens if the platform has technical issues during my challenge?

Aurex Funded makes every effort to maintain platform availability. In the event of significant technical outages that materially affect challenge integrity, we may extend the challenge period or provide other appropriate remediation at our discretion. Contact support@aurexfunded.com immediately if you experience platform issues that affect your trading.

Account, Security & Privacy

Can I share my account with someone else or have someone trade for me?

No. Your Aurex Funded account is strictly personal and non-transferable. Sharing your account credentials with any third party, or allowing any person or service to trade on your behalf, is a direct violation of our Terms and Conditions and will result in immediate account termination without refund.

Do I need to complete identity verification (KYC)?

Yes — identity verification is required before your first Reward Certificate can be processed. You will be prompted to submit a government-issued ID and proof of address when you submit your first payout request. This is a standard compliance measure to prevent fraud and ensure accurate payment delivery.

What personal data does Aurex Funded collect?

We collect the data necessary to operate our service: account registration information (name, email, country), payment information (processed securely via third-party providers), identity verification data (for Reward Certificate processing), and trading activity data (your simulated trades and performance metrics). We do not sell your data. See our full Privacy Policy for complete details.

RAPID Program — Specific Questions

What happens if I don't hit the 5% target in 5 trading days on RAPID?

If you don't reach the 5% profit target within 5 trading days on the RAPID program, your evaluation phase fails. You are entitled to one (1) account reset — paying the applicable reset fee gives you a fresh 5-day window. If you fail after the reset, you must purchase a new RAPID challenge to try again. Only one reset is permitted per account.

What are the RAPID reset fees?

$10,000 account: $29 | $25,000: $49 | $50,000: $69 | $100,000: $100. Reset fees are non-refundable regardless of outcome. The original challenge fee is only refunded upon your first Reward Certificate, not upon reset.

Why does RAPID have tighter funded rules than PRO or FLEX?

RAPID offers the fastest path to a funded account — potentially in as few as 1 trading day. To maintain fairness and protect program integrity, the funded stage has tighter rules: 3% EOD trailing drawdown, 2% daily loss, 60% consistency rule, and 5-withdrawal cap. The tradeoff is a weekly payout cycle — the fastest of all programs.
